On some positions, Cowardice asks the question, "Is it safe?" Expediency asks the question, "Is it politic?" And Vanity comes along and asks the question, "Is it popular?" But Conscience asks the question "Is it right?" And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because Conscience tells him it is right.

L'opportunità chiede: è conveniente?
La vana gloria chiede: è popolare?
Ma la coscienza chiede: è giusto?
Prima o poi arriva l'ora in cui bisogna prendere una posizione che non è nè sicura, nè conveniente, nè popolare; ma bisogna prenderla, perchè è giusta.
Essere veg:
- non è sicuro (?): leggi notizie su possibili carenze di vitamine B12 o ferro;
- non è conveniente: non lo è economicamente visto che mangiare un hamburger in un fast food costa pochissimo e non lo è socialmente visto che si va contro la cultura attuale;
- non è popolare visto che tutti gli altri hanno difficoltà ad invitarti a mangiare con loro pensando che tu mangi cose strane.
Ma di sicuro per me è la cosa giusta.
